The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the schedule for Mock Test Papers (MTP) Series I and Series II for students appearing in the CA Foundation January 2027 examinations. The Board of Studies (Academic) will conduct the mock tests in both physical and virtual modes to help students assess their preparation before the examinations.
According to the announcement dated October 21, 2026, Series I will begin on December 1, 2026, while Series II will commence on December 14, 2026. Students can access the question papers and answer keys through the ICAI BoS Knowledge Portal and the ICAI BoS mobile application.
CA Foundation January 2027 Mock Test Schedule

How to Access CA Foundation Mock Test Papers
Students can access the mock test papers and answer keys through the following platforms:
- ICAI BoS Knowledge Portal: Visit boslive.icai.org .
- ICAI BoS Mobile App: Available for Android and iOS users.
- Mock Test Registration Portal: Visit bosmtp.icai.org to register for physical mock tests.
Students opting for physical examinations can approach their respective ICAI branches or regional offices to participate in the mock tests.
Question Paper and Answer Key Availability
ICAI has clarified that question papers for each subject will be uploaded on the BoS Knowledge Portal and the Mock Test Paper Registration Portal by 1:30 PM on the respective test dates.
Answer keys will be uploaded within 48 hours from the commencement of the corresponding mock test. Students can use these answer keys to evaluate their responses, identify mistakes and assess their performance.
Why CA Foundation Students Should Attempt Mock Tests
Mock tests provide students with an opportunity to practise under examination-like conditions before the actual CA Foundation January 2027 examinations. Attempting both series can help candidates improve time management, evaluate subject-wise preparation and identify topics that require further revision.
