GSTN has announced an important update, dated May 16, 2024. The update reveals that GST payment facilities via UPI and Debit/Credit cards are now available in Jammu & Kashmir. This expansion brings the total number of States and Union Territories with this facility to 16.

The GST payment option is available for all UPI transactions and Debit/Credit cards powered by Rupay, MasterCard, Visa, and Diners Club, facilitated through Kotak Mahindra Bank. The GSTN has assured that the rest of India and additional banks will be integrated with this facility soon.
