FAQ :
Applicants for GST registration in Uttar Pradesh are now required to undergo biometric Aadhaar authentication and verification of original documents.
The new functionality for biometric Aadhaar authentication and document verification was rolled out in Uttar Pradesh on 15th March 2025.
After submitting Form GST REG-01, applicants will receive an email with either a link for OTP-based Aadhaar authentication or a link to book an appointment at a GST Suvidha Kendra (GSK) for biometric verification and document checks.
You will need to bring a copy of your appointment confirmation email, jurisdiction details, original Aadhaar Card and PAN Card, and the original documents uploaded with your application.
Applicants in Uttar Pradesh can start booking appointment slots from 18th March 2025.
ARNs will be generated only after the completion of the biometric-based Aadhaar authentication process and document verification.
