Over 1,10,019 loans have been extended since the launch of 'Stand up India' scheme as on 31.01.2021 since its inception and beneficiaries can get a loan of Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 1 crore to start or increase their business.

Financial aid to states to meet GST compensation

In order to meet the shortfall in Goods and Services Tax (GST) compensation to be paid to States, the Government of India had set up a special borrowing window in October, 2020 to raise the estimated shortfall of Rs. 1.1 lakh crore.
