EPFO adds 12.76 lakh net subscribers during April, 2021

Despite the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, April 2021 registered an increase of 13.73% net subscribers addition as compared to the previous month during which around 11.22 lakh net subscribers were added to the payroll.

CAAS recommends FM to intervene and simply re-activate the previous IT Portal

CAAS has given an advisory and beta-testing regarding the New Income Tax Portal to the PMO and has recommended them to intervene and simply re-activate the previous IT Portal, so that tax compliances can run on time.

CSEET to be conducted on 10th July 2021 through Remote Proctored Mode

ICSI will be conducting the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test on 10th July 2021. Due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the same will be conducted through Remote Proctored Mode instead of conducting the same from Test Centers.

Net Direct Tax collections for FY 2021-22 grows more than 100%

Net Direct Tax collections for the F.Y. 2021-22 have grown at a robust pace despite the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy. Refunds amounting to Rs. 30,731 crore have been issued in the F.Y. 2021-22.
