IBBI notifies the IBBI (Pre-packaged Insolvency Resolution Process) Regulations, 2021

The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021 promulgated on 4th April 2021 provides for a pre-packaged insolvency resolution process (PPIRP) for corporate debtors classified as micro, small and medium enterprises.

MCA registers 1.55 lakh company incorporations in FY 2020-21

During the Financial Year 2020-21, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) registered more than 1.55 Lakh company incorporations as compared to 1.22 Lakh companies during FY 2019-20, an increase of about 27%.
