Dear Sir/Madam,
It's been more than 10 days that my ITR has been successfully verified by CPC (Filed Online as usual in June-2019) and refund has been accepted for AY-2019-20. Same is reflecting in Intimation 143(1). However despite 10 days gone assessing officer has not yet initiated the refund.
When I call CPC they have no further information. All they say is wait but there's no defined timeline!
How long should I wait and what to do if refund is not initiated even after say 30 days?
Note that
1. My bank account has been successfully pre-validated and is reflecting under my e-filing login since June-2019
2. I still have not received the refund request number over SMS i.e. forget about getting funds into the bank, it's not yet been initiated by the assessing officer.
