Life after death can neither be proved nor disproved because one would have to undergo physical death in order to prove or disprove it.
We have a soul which leaves the body upon physical death and goes on to somewhere else.
Many of us are so busy with our day to day lives that we have little time for reflection.
Everything in this world is artificial (an illusion) except death. We need to rediscover ourselves about who we are.
"Who am i?”- the answer to this question can be found out by oneself only, provided he/she has a real urge/desire to know the same.
I have a question- if at the time of death there remains nothing but the soul, why people are so desperately running after name, fame, money, power, etc? Isn’t these things all artificial and death the truth? What is and should be the objective of our life?
Eg: Mr A was a very reputed person possessing power or wealth. After his death people will think that he is no more in the sense that Mr A can’t be communicated anymore.
Before death, For Mr A himself, he had soul, body, wealth, worldly pleasures, etc but after death For Mr A, he is nothing but soul, which he failed to recognize earlier.
Now, the money, fame, name which Mr A earned during his whole lifetime, will that be of any use to him? Obviously no, and hence all these things gave him short term pleasure which lasted only till his death.
Aren’t these things artificial giving only short term pleasure? As such it becomes very important for us to know who we are and what should be the objective of our life, keeping in view the nature of "life after death"
This is a very interesting topic raised by Mr Bansal.
If we were to put ourselves in a very dark room with no sounds or distractions when we aren't tired or sleepy and engage in deep thought about the subject, then we may have more insight into what may actually be the truth.
