What is diff between sec56(2)(vii) and sec 56(2)(x)
both the sections are almost same what is the basic diff in them

56(2)(x) is amendment of 56(2)(vii).
Means sec56(2)(x) is applicable for A.Y. 2018-2019, while 56(2)(vii) for A.Y.2017-2018.

Otherwise both are almost same.
Diff is that 56(2)(vii) applicable to individual or HUF But now this section is amendment now is applicable to All Assesse include foreign resident
