Use of Communities

HI Friends,

I see Many of the communities taken place in our CCI, But i didnt find any of the participation or discussion or any topics or sharing new things or debating or nothing going like such...

So would like to know what is the use of COMMUNITIES here...?????

So friends can you tell me the reason behind here...........

hi jaisree, even me feeling the same thing. we can utilise communities very well if participation is good. but it is so sad that no one shows interest in discussing in communities

i feel the same jayasri..in my community..more than 40 members..but no one is partcipating.

You are right Jayasri, i too realised that and i think members generally perform their activities like discussion, debating etc either by forum messages or articles and perhaps they think its better than communities. This may be one of the reason.

Friend, u r ryt, but u also note one thing, in many community activities are continue, ya i also think that we should participate in activies.

So friends, Let us do one thing.... Lets make them participate by showing encouragement and drag them towards discussion...

Atleast we should take initiative and we friends can form in this things yar.... What say.....

In my view first of all there shold be a notification for every member of the community when something is posted in that community. Without notification he may not visit the community and therefore they might not participate in the discussion.

Well, its true that most communities are inactive here and members just join them and not participate and once I had also requested Admin to add extra features in communities. However all the communities are not inactive. I have experience because I am the owner of some of the biggest communities on CCI Following are some of the examples of active communities:

@ future ca ----- True friend.. thats why we started a community and discussing a new topic every day , without visit the community we dont the CCI for the day..

Join in that ,(GROUP DISCUSSION COMMUNITY) , if you dont like you can go out of that.....

I would like to make all the students participate actively related to their communities... I see so many beautiful communities are there titled awesome but notihing is going, thats the reason to post this forum here.
