Urgent: please help me for tds-certificate renew process

Hi,
This is amit saxena.
I have one query regarding TDS payment.As i m not accountant. so i need help in it.
I had some work of my office from one organaniser. And there were lots of transacations and payments.Which all over above to 11 lack in counting. So on each payment we cut tds . And provide quarterly tds certificate to that organiser for annual redemtion from govt. And we get from them.
( I guess this is the system )

So , in 2010-11, mistakenly one certificate not reach them of rs 13,000 before the annual financial year. And now its 2012-13 financial year start up.
So, the horrible thing is , my account department showing 13000 due balance from that organiser. And they saying its not possible without we renew the certficate for this year.

So , the payment reach to govt. not the organiser.

Kindly let me know , is it possible to get that payemnt from govt. And way of renew the certificate.

please give me answer urgently. i m gonna target it soon from my head.

Is there no way? , will govt have this money remain ?
my that organiser said, its possible to renew it ...........but how? please let me know for it.

1st thing that while filing your TDS returns, if u had quoted the correct PAN No. of the deductee then the same amount had been reflected in the Form 26 As of the person and he may have easily got the benifit of TDS. Kindly check the same.

If you had not quoted the correct PAN no. of the Deductee then 1st revise your TDS Return and then ask the organisation to file revise IT return claiming the TDS amount. If they agree then its ok. Else there is no way to renew the TDS certifictae .
