I am contractor and i am provided services to Rice mill and my services is under zero rated supply,
Now my question is that if my turnover is 80 lacs then it is necessary to get registered and and fill returns under Gst , weather zero rated

if u provide construction service only to those which are exempted then u dont need to get registered irrespective of turnover.But if u get registered then u have to file return irrespective of turnover.
If u r providing services to those which are not exempt then u have to get registered either for composition or regular scheme based on turnover and as per your choice.
