Transfer of property
My mother has transferred a flat in my name by way of gift need. Now how can I put my name in society's record. What is the procedure for it. Can society take any charges for this from me.

Make transfer application on prescribed form with Secretary of your society, attach copy of gift deed, share certificate etc. Some societies do charge transfer fee, even on gift between blood relation, but very nominal.
