I filed the IT Return for FY 2007-08 and somehow lost the return receipt and haven't for the refund yet.
What is the best possible way now to trace my IT Return? On the Income Tax Deptt websote, it shows "Pending with Assessing Officer".

If you have filed online, you can check it by login to IT Dept website but if you have filed hardcopies, you can try to get the xerox from dept. only.
