Temporary account number
Hellow can some please inform if there something like a Temporary Account number available in the Tax Domain. If yes how can one apply for it? Also does one need to have a TAN number to transfer funds from India to Abroad.??

TAN no. stands for Tax Deduction Account Number under Incime Tax Act. there are various payements which are subject to tds while making payment from india to abroad. if your transaction is subject to tds then you need to get TAN no.
