Whether TDS is to be deducted on the payments made to APIIC Ltd towards advance lease rentals for the Lease Hold Land. What is rate of Deduction if the deductee is a Corporate for the F.Y 2010-2011. Please answer.

Tax is deducted at source under the provisions of section 194-I of the Act on advance rent pertaining to more than one financial year to be adjusted against future rent. In case the deductee is a company then TDS deductible @ 10%
