Here's how you can download or view your filed TDS Return (Form 26Q) from the TRACES portal:

✅ Steps to Download Form 26Q (TDS Return) from TRACES

📍 Step 1: Login to TRACES

• Visit: https://www.tdscpc.gov.in

• Login as Deductor using:

  • User ID (TAN)

  • Password

  • TDS CPC Token

📍 Step 2: Navigate to ‘Statements / Payments’

• After login, go to:

  • Statements / Payments > View Filed TDS

• Select:

  • Form Type: 26Q

  • FY, Quarter, and Form status

This allows you to view details of the filed return.

📍 Step 3: Download Form 26Q (Consolidated File)

To download a copy of the filed return (for correction or reference):

• Go to:
  Statements / Payments > Request for Consolidated File

• Select:

  • Form Type: 26Q

  • Relevant FY and Quarter

• Submit request

Then:

• Go to:
  Downloads > Requested Downloads

• Once status shows “Available”, click Download

🛑 Note: You’ll need the KYC details (token number of the original filing) and Justification Utility to open the .zip file.

ℹ️ What you cannot do:

• You cannot view Form 26Q in a clean, readable format (like a PDF summary) directly from TRACES.

• It's a text/e-file meant for importing into TDS software for corrections, not for viewing directly.

If you just need to verify filing status or challan/payment match:

• Use the “View TDS Statement” option.

• Or go to TDS CPC > Dashboard > Statement Status
