I left India on 31st Jan, 2021 for employment purposes and would be returning to India on 4th Oct, 2021. My stay in India for FY22 would be less than 182days.
In the previous assessment years, I am a resident in India for tax purposes.
Hence, my query is what is my tax residency status in India for AS2022-23? Also, would be helpful if you could indicate the rationale for the same. Thanks!
