Tax audit due date extension

But in act it is written that if the last date happens to be a public holiday than due date should be next following day..Do U think that act will be amended

as now tax audit files have to be filed electronically, so it can be done on sunday/holiday also

also govt has announced that incometax will keep their offices open on sunday to facilate the receiving of returns, 

But that does not mean that date is extended or act is amended

it will get clear on 30th sept only, when govt will issue any clarification, till now the deadline is 30th sept .

Yes Sir i wanted to confirm one thing one thing more that now may be a notification will come regarding this...But can a notification amend the Act

not clear about it, but earlier when e filing / e payment was not available, this was a valid point, but today in age of e commerce, such type of extensions are merely in books, not in practical.
