Can I register my TAN on TRACES without having my 1st tds return acknowledgement?
And can I register my TAN on incometaxefiling website with getting registered on TRACES?

Yes you can do so.
But it is asking to give ack no and it is mandatory.
Fill basic details and fill option 1
Until I give the ack no, it doesn’t direct me ti next level.
