Should i switch to CS? failed in CA. is it better?

Final 3078 views 10 replies

Dear friends,

i had failed so many times in ca final. i had given my 10th attempt and i failed again. i had not cleard any groups of ca final, nor any exemption in any subject. my may 2013 marks were Gr1 : 186 and Gr2: 156 GT= 342.

I am really tired of doing it again and again.

i also have completed CS professional year 2 groups. now 3rd and 4th group is remained. however my registraion is expired and they said me to do de-novo registraion.

my problem :

really speaking i dont have any job in my hand, i have to fulfill my family responsibilities. my age is 28 now.

so my question is, should i switch to CS?

now a days, we see many students passing ca final are not getting jobs, many of my frinds are searching for jobs even after 6-7 months. kya position itni kharab hai ke itni mehnat karke bhi baad me halat jaise the ho jaegi?

please answer :

1) if i complete CS professional at december 2013 exam and if i want to do just job in a company do i need to undergo 15 months training?

2) if yes how much it pays?

3) i had not completed CC papers. is it ok if i pay 2000 for denovo? or 6500/- for coaching also?

please guide me.

Hello Karan,

Frankly speaking  i am also doing ca & cs but as of i am knowing more about ca rather then cs

so if u switch over from ca to cs

then u should have knowledge os cs.

so based on think

dont give up CA bro... try hard... u will get  through....as of CS mgmt training companies dont pay much for 15 month training..jus a small stipend..and as u know even if u complete ur exams 15 mnth training is compulsory to get ICSI membership... i would suggest u to try hard for both in the coming exams.. and come out in flying colours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the best!!!!!!!!!!!

Abhilash ji...dnt agree with u....the stipend paid in CS varies from 2000 to 8000....its depends on co. 2 co......

Karan....none of us have any idea as to the situations you are going through....v all will give you various advices but the last decisions will be yours....

I wold advice you to follow your heart and mind...do what you think is correct....if you think you want to give a last attempt at CA go for it....or if you want to go for CS then do so...

market position is bad for CAs as well as for CSs......go for a thorough info of the CS course and decide...take your time and decide clearly.....

All the best for your future....

@ vandana.... by small stipend i meant that only.. within 10000 but it depends from company to company

Dear Mr.Karan

First of all, i would like to suggest that there is no requirement of switch off here to there or vice versa... you have to appear for single group of the both courses or if you are really frustrated with ca examination then first complete your cs professional. it will give the moral boosting to you. i am not writing as a suggestions becased on theoratical knowledge..actually practically i applied 6 years back. first i completed CS and started own practice later i qualified as CA but now i am a successful CS practitioner so i never thought to change to CA practice.. i believe that there is a ample of opportunities in CA as well as CS it depend on the person. Clients never asked your qualifications they bother about the knowledge. getting the job and earning money is purely depend on the person skills. earlier there were CA and CS who unemployed or earned less money and still this trend is there and it will be....there is always exception in all the profession. but the truth is that 99% of CA and CS are settled. yes it is true that all the professional needs at least two years to settled and it is happening with all the profession not only with CA and CS.

as far as.stipend of CS training is concern, it is varies with firm to firm or company to company but in your case..you will go as a qualified CS and same time you are in CA final...so you can get good stipend just you have to believe on yourself...earning of Rs.20000/- is not a big task what i believe. some people i know that they are CA and CS but still earning 40000/pm and at the same time a know a tax consultants who is simply B.Com but he is earning 120000/ pm... so earning depends on your skills and practical knowledge...professional qualification can give only the minimum assurance.

1.Believe on yourself.

2. Complete your CS first.

3. Appear for either of the group of CA final.

4. Go for practical training and develop your skills..you can earn handsome amount.

5. keep away from the negative thinker...and rumour that there is no job for CA and CS....all profession has some useless fellows.

6. take the proper exercise regulary..you can come out from the negative zone...i know that in the near future you will be CA and CS.

All the best

No... you will become CA , have faith and work on it

helloo..follow any of the below..

1. Dont completely leave CA..bt fr next attempt study only one subject so dat u get exemption....dis brings confidance in u..simeltaneously join a job so dat u get experience and u find time to study!!!!

2.coming to CS remember the struggle of ur ten attempts in Ca final n start studyin Cs..so dat dis brings attention n interest,..CS first go fr previous years papers u find in ca club india..search fr it!!!!

Study 60% of the portion perfectly n remainin 40% of the lessons read important questions and know the basic about the lesson so that whateva question comes frm dat lesson write the basic part f it..select the lessons before u study..

3. Make use f time wisely..wile takin bath..while goin to shoppin..in bus..jus think f wat u studied..

4.Discuss the topics to those who r interested in it..so dat u get interst..

5.Be wid those who can understands u..or else stop speakin to pple!!!!

I know dat im not worthy to suggest u..bt if u like it follow

        ALL D BEST..May u have a great life ahead!!!!

Dnt lose faith..u vil get clear..

Hi Karan Don't lose heart................

For the last 10 attempts you are continuously failing to clear even a single group that means either you have no Strategy in place or  your strategies are not working to clear CA Final.

Take some time , do some research and development work , Prepare a Strategy based on your Strength and Weakness and then Go for it.

Attempting single Group will not be a solution ,if you are not rectifying your mistakes.

Accept your mistakes , work on them and Come back Strongly.

Please Do'nt Sacrifice CA at any Cost .

Best of Luck...........
