i would like to know that if a person has signed on the share transfer form of a public limited company and was promised to get the payment through check within a fortnight but still hasnt recieved any payments then what action can he take . And till how many months is this share transfer authenticated if the money is not payed to the transferer .

In your case ask the transferror to give stop transfer instruction immediately to the company or registrar.
Kindly sign the transfer form by transferror only after the money has been received in order to avoid cumbersome legal procedures in future.
