So terrible "padhuka is not at all good for SFM" better to go with a.n. sridhar or s.d. bala for conceptual clarity.
go for jb gupta +sd bala....................best combination
I THINK YOU WILL GET GOOD MARKS, BUT NOT 100/100 MARKS FROM ANY BOOK.THE REASON IS ...........?
JB gupta is awesome...donate padhuka right nw,rather throw it to the bin...

To all those people criticising paduka, you cannot comprehend or complete, that does not mean the book is not upto the mark. Padhuka may not be the best book, but if you have the patience for it, (which is expected by default, as you are aspiring to be a professional) it is a good book. Have some respect for books and DO NOT THROW IT IN THE BIN, If you think you are too smart for the book, you can always check the book before buying, AND NOT BUY, also, give your suggestions as per convenience of the person being addressed, not by putting forward your personal bias.

Well i ve been tired of giving my opinion on SFM to n number of people at this Site.As ur calling for reasoning let me clarrify whether it is my logical opinion or personal bias...
SFM paper demands conceptual clarrity ,a subject directly related to mathematics...When a Author writes book ,ideally claiming it to be for self study, then he should offer the pre requisites in it.
For ur information i ve gone through following books.
1)JB gupta
2)AN sridhar
3)SD bala.
4)Padhukas
5)nagendra shah
6)Rajeev Singh material.
I believe to develop as professional by referring a book and not only just passing exam...
Padhukas is really nt worth..
Padhuka author may be an expert in SFM but he is a Failure in convincing the concepts to a layman, one reason u might like his book is cause he has dumped some 100's of questions in it...
1)There is absolutely no base for concepts in his books.
2)there is no reasoning for concepts
3)ull Find Formula's at all places..just try apllying Formulae in real life.check out if its gonna wrk..tats nt the way u learn Finance...but that may be the way u can pass the exam.
Comprehend padhukas ,as far as this concerned...yeah perhaps if u solve it 5 times u can cram it not comprehend.
Moreover don offend my opinion...its an open platform for CA course ,everyone is free to give their perspective as long as its logical...
