Service tax input tax credit

service charge will be payble on the month of february 09.

Right rate should be upto 23-02-2009, rate is 12.36% after that 10.30%.

What if the service provider has charged @ 12.36% without bifurcation, and the set-off taken at the same rate..

you can return such invoice to service provider and direct him to charge tax with bifurcation
