hi., I have a long term capital gain in the current year 2014 on sale of land. I had entered into an agreement with DLF to take up an apartment under construction in 2009 and payments were being made in various instalments . All the instalments are completed and possession is due in this year 2014. can I avail the exemption under 54F ? I do not own any other house property

Thanks Saroj ! Since 99% of the payment towards the new apartment has been paid before the sale of land ,will it be a problem ? Only possession Is not acquired and deed is not registered as of now.
