Suppose property purchase before new cost inflation index ie. before 01-04-2001 and sold now. Is it cost of acquisition OR improvement.
In which column have to mention indexed cost :
i . Cost of acquisition with Indexation
OR
ii . Cost of Improvement with Indexation

cost of improvement is applied when u have made.any further construction on property
cost of improvement is applied when u have made.any further construction on property
but if made further construction on property before 01-04-2001 then? What about "Fair Market Value"
we will take fmv on 1-4-2001 and COI will be taken nil before 1-4-2001
