Revised return- manual vs online submission

It is advisable to you file the revised return manually.
However if online revised return has to be filed, the income tax software will not consider the revised return option, in that case you shall have to file your return as was filed manually through that software. Then file revise return by that software. But dont send the acknowledgement of the original return(through the software) to Banglore. 

ONLY ONLINE REVISED RETURN CAN BE FILED IN CASE OF, IF YOU FILED ORGINAL RETURN ONLINE.
