my provisional id is restricted by the state Dept. whereas I have surrendered my tin number last year. currently im a service provider. what should b done? whom to contact?

you contact service tax range if you have service tax no.
i contacted them, they are asking me to contact the state vat dept
If you are not liable to get registered in State VAT than convince them that you are a service provider only not required to be get registed in state VAT. Only one provisional is enough to migrate into GST regime. Regards HS Negi
Contact the concerned state's Vat department and ask for the reason as to why the provisional id has been blocked.
It could be due to an outstanding demand or something else. Sort that out first.
