Invoice date for the period from 1-4-19 to 30-4-19 is 05-05-19. Plz tell me on which date we should record invoice.

On 30-04-19 or 05-05-19???

We received a invoice for April 2019 whose bill date os 05-05-2019. Now tell me which date we should book the invoice?

you should book the expenses on 5th may because if it is tax invoice than supplier would upload this invoice in may return
In the other hand you can ask him send invoice in month of April either or date should be of April month in invoice
