One of my friend accountant not e verify / Sent signed ITR V (Acknowledgement) of FY 2015-2016 & 2016-2017. He have Refund in both year. He everify in December and filed condonation request also.
For FY 2015-2016, request rejected and for FY 2016-17 request accepted and Assessment 143(1) completed, refund is pending.
What to do now for FY 2015-2016 refund. Please suggest

File condonation request u/s. 119(2)(b) with JCIT to file return (manually). If accepted, file fresh ITR u/s. 119(2)(b).
