Reason behind from 32 and 29 under companies act

hello
i have just started with ipcc law course.

here is my question.

whats the reason behind filing form 29 and 32 under companies act?
as in i am keen to know about hte logic behind these two forms.?
as a director of the company why is it so neccessary give confirmation about the same when so many neccessary documents have already been provided?
