I know about private equity fund

A private equity fund is raised and managed by investment professionals of a specific private equity firm (the general partner and investment advisor). Typically, a single private equity firm will manage a series of distinct private equity funds and will attempt to raise a new fund every 3 to 5 years as the previous fund is fully invested.

POONAM... the term is completely new for me.., and may be for many of the members... So, let thme find the meaning, and answer to ur Question....

hey this term i am sure not any legal recognition in india thats y we dont know this but its recognition in US anyway i am trying and it is related to some Mutual Fund also

and yes POONAM, i searched it too,, on google, yahoo, etc.., but therz no sign of such thing...
