ICAI wont. It has too many skeletons in its cupboard

Yes it's in today's news papers... but i dont think ICAI will be announcing it's formal procedure... after all ICAI had rejected to show papers earlier ..N now when Kolkata high court ruled out in favour of students..i guess ICAI will be challenging it in SC..but as students concerned we should not wait for any notification..rather we all should write applications to ICAI seeking our MAY 2011 papers -:)..before they announce that they are making this facility available from NOV 2011 onwards...

Plz share ur views everybody...

Correction guys.. i think SC ruled it ..so its final now..

yes i think they will make an excuse of Administration impossiblity and start it from next attempt.. but the way ICAI declares revaluation results they will give you the photo copy of answer sheets after your next attempt i feel..

Yes, Vedanta.

Students can expect to get the photo copy of their answer sheet in CBSE or any other exam. Since it is supreme court decision, it is more or less final. It will also ensure that the examiners would be more careful in checking the answer sheets and awarding or totalling the marks. This might delay the results, initially. But post-results, now the work for the bodies conducting exam will increase manifold and forever.

I am sure the decision applies to the exams whose results are just declared and not prospectively. I am sure that over 25% of the failed students plus the students who  have passed but not happy with their marks in one or more subjects will apply - some just unnecessary- for revaluation and safegurads need to be built against its misuse. Also there will be long delay by the time a student gets to see hi answersheets and lots of disputes after he sees them. But overall, a long overdue and welcome decision.
