I have completed PE1 in Jan 2005 and registered for PE2 in June 2005 and got the eligibility certificate for May 2006 PE2 exam. May 2008 was my fifth attempt, if i donot clear in may 2008 exam can i appear for nov 2008 PE2 exam. If i cannot what should i do. Please note iam doing itt training right now.

hi remy u wil be allowed to appear for nov08 pe2 exams.As per rules five is the max attempt allowed after which one has to apply for permission for further attempts.But the institute is not following that..One of my friend has appeared for 8 attempt without applying for permission for further attempt.Even after 8 attempts he is being allowed to write this exams..so u wil also be allowed to write..

As far as my knowledge candidates joining for PE2 after PE1 and expired 5 attempts have to convert to PCC, ie the reason Iam confused.
convert to PCC if you dont clear in this attempt
