I have two firms of the same nature of business in the same city.
I have GST registration for my first firm but not the second, so can I add my second firm as an additional trade name under the first one?

Yes, you can register and run both firms under a single GSTIN, provided they share the same PAN. File a Non-Core Amendment on the GST portal to add the second trade name and/or register the second location as an Additional Place of Business.
