Open Book Examination

Hi All,

I came to know about a concept of Open Book examination in which students will be allowed to take recommanded books to examination. They can refer the book & write the exam.

Should ICAI follow such system...? Being a professional exam, the importance must be on the ability of the student to apply the theoritical concept in practical situations & not on his ability to mug up-write in the exam- & then forget...!!!

I want to know the opinion of all members on this concept.

Yes... It is a Good concept.... Then, students will focus on acquiring knowledge... Not just mug & write... give practical problems & let the students to refer the book....

Now dont shout that we need not learn anything from pakistan.... Whatever is good, we have to learn from others.
