Res sir, I have one Gst (proprietor) and 2 factory location in one state . Initially second unit is entered as additional place of business in gst portal. but now I want to give a specific name for Unit 2 which will be different from fist Unit name (gst number wI'll be same) . Pl suggest how it can be added on gst portal? Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

You need to register with new factory name in GST
Dear Mr. Jain,
For this,first of all you need to login gst portal - service menu-registration-amendment of registration core field-Deselect the additional place of business (by pressing on "NO:) and thereafter you will take another gst registration on voluntarily basis for such specific name as u have decided for unit-2 but your compliances will be surely increased

Thanks Narsimha sir and Piyush Sir, It mean if any one have two or more factory in one state than he has to register for one more GST registration (If 2 different name requires) OR he have to maintain same name for both factory (if One GST registration Status). Thanks.
