Please guide me which book should I purchase for Direct Tax ( self Study ). My exam is due in Nov 2013. Thanks in advance.

V. G. Gupta is best for self study.

V.K Singhania.. is not good for FINAL. VG is simple short & exam oriented.

If you want to make a careeer in Direct Taxes Singhania's book is most appropriate. Want to pass the exam Manoharan is good enough
