Dear Sir/Madam,

I need your suggestion relating to my carrier. I Was a science student from WB board and scored 83% in HS and I also held good rank in WBJEE but due to my family income level is very very low to finance my study I decided to join ca course and cleared the CPT( score-133) in 2010 and 1st group of IPCC -1(score-239) in 2011. Thereafter I am struggling to pass second group but failed in my last attempts for 10-11 marks. I somehow managed to pass CPT and IPCC without attaining any coaching classes due to the poverty but failed several times in second group of IPCC as I mentioned earlier.

Recently I am pursuing my articleship training and already managed to complete nearly 1 years. I also appeared in the second group in Nov 2013

I fear that probably I might have taken a wrong decision at that time. I thought that It could be completed without the requirement of paying high fees. My question is that should I quit CA?

Please advise me Sir/Madam.

I can very well understand and appreciate your position. Please do not quit CA at this point. You are undergoing articleship. So, try your level best to qualify the IPCC. In case you need help, you can call me at 9748872243. I am also from Kolkata.

Bro, what i feel is, the decision you took matters in life more than the situation in which you took it. Cause, whatever you do in life you can't get away without facing problems but they may feel tackleable/untackleable, tough/easy, at a particular moment or when compared to some other opportunities that we chose to leave only for the sake of the decision we made. But, just because of a moment's dissatisfaction, frustration do you feel is it fair to change the decision itself.?! It's like, you left for US while getting on board on plane but after knowing that it's gonna take a day or two to reach there you wanna get down in Dubai itself. Isn't it.?!.."The more time you spend in that plane, the farer you go, but the distance you cover may vary when compared to a mate who even started with you from the same placebut it still be more better than the person who just landed

At a place you passed through"..!! So, keep a calm mind you can do it..you've done already the things which many of our friends in the same stream are finding it difficult to do..!! Don't give up upon yourself.. Have faith..!!

Hey Koushik am glad at u hav passed the IPCC group-1, most of the students were still making a lot of hardwrk for completing that. It wnt be a wise decision to quit because aftr a bitter hardwrk u have reached here and u cant leave in the middle. U will complete clear in this attempt.. Be positive and have a great days ahead!!!

Dear kaushik I had also faced the same problem But when i talked to my boss during articleship about he gets ready to be with me He told me to study well n do the training as per my convinance N also he had offer me job during articleship in which i hav to accounting This way it helps me to pay my coaching fees too I m very thankful to him You may also try this But dont try to quit It will pay u more Also take training well as u r frm science backgrnd u need it Thank u

Please dont quit CA. It is a humble request. I know you are facing tough time but believe me it is very easy decision to quit but difficult to continue. Be positive and i know you definitely complete this.

Koushik ,in a very clear words, don't drop ca, be regular in what u r doing & think practical what next after u drop ca, again there will be other problems so try ur best to clear ca & u r a briliant student that show by ur ipcc 1 group marks ""without tution"".
