I want to confirm about the minimum amount that can be donated towards donation u/s 80G.
Also, if someone has donated Rs. 100/- towards PM Relief Fund, is he eligible to count such Rs.100/- of donation in his Computation of Income?
Whether minimum Rs 250/- is the limit that can be deducted from Total Income (.....if donated)
There is no minimum limit,theres limit on eligibiity on maximum amount for which one will be entitled to deduction.
Claiming deduction for Donation u/s 80G is optional. You may donate Rs. 100/- or Rs. 100 crore. It is your choice. If donated to PM relief fund, then you may claim 100% deduction u/s 80G.
