Companies Act, 2013 is not applicable as a whole. Only 45* sections out of 98 sections notified on 12.09.2013 are applicable for Nov’14 CA-IPC exams.
(*Earlier 53 sections were applicable, but sections 407-414 has been withdrawn for Nov’14 exams by ICAI, announcement dated 12.09.2014 -> https://goo.gl/O4ZERN)
