KMP Appointment
is it required to pass a special resolution in the general meeting to appoint a Key Managerial personnel in a public company

for the appointment of kmp under 203 passing of SR is not necessary unless the appointment is for MD,of a person who attains the age of 70 years or more.
For the appointment of KMP it is not neccessary to pass the Special resolution.
Not required unless Company proposes to appoint a person as a KMP whose age is 70 years or more
