As u already know that facebook CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg has stolen the idea of facebook from two twin brother in harvard university in 2001..... later on they complaint and got 65 million dollar in 2007...........

in 2009 they started a new project(ZURKER) and launched dthe beta version in dec 2011........... ....

First of all this site has nothing to do with Winklevoss twins. the real man behind this is Nick Oba. Secondly,company is closely held so how can people become shareholders. This is just a marketing technique employed by him to promote his website and he has done pretty well so far.

Also the concept of vshares is explained as follows on its website:

“vShares can be thought of as agreements between the owners of a startup about the size of their stake in the enterprise to be incorporated. One vShare equals one-millionth of a piece of the company. Users can earn vShares by signing up, and by inviting friends; they can also purchase them. “When 1,000,000 vShares have been allocated, Zurker will be restructured as a public corporation and vShares will become real shares.”

If you are signing up for the website it should not be on the pretext of wrong information.
