time limit for the A.Yr. 2008-09 is 31st March 2010. up to that period you can file as a belated return. For the A.Yr. 2008-09 you have both the option. either send to banglore or file manually at the department. but it is advisable that if you file e retrun for the a.yr. 2008-09 the sent to bangalore as well as file manually.

A1 Yes, It is possible to e-file ITR of AY 08-09 whether taxable or not.
Q2 Where ITR-V is to be sent?
A2 ITR-V will be sent through Ordinary Post at the Bangalore Address.
Q3 What is the time limit for filing ITR of AY 08-09?
A3 For an individual time limit is 31st July 2008 whether taxable or not .
Return filled after 31st july 2008 for AY 08-09 will be belated which can't be revised.
Further if ITR is filled after 31st march 09 then there will be penalty of Rs. 5000

1. The time limit for filing ITR-V to Bangalore is with in 60 days from the date of filing.
2. Eventhough you submit ITR-V of AY 2008-09 to the dept, they will accept , absolutely no problem.
