I did my e-filing this year for the first time.
and posted the signed ITR-V to bangalore. How long do i have to wait before i know the status.?
Since its by ordinary post there is a probability of losing the documents.
Is an indivual allowed i post the ITR-V multiple times (say two or three) just to make sure that atleast one
reaches.?
Don't you feel that his process of ordinary post mailing should be changed.. to avoid tax payers unnecessary tension..

I agree with you, ordinary post mailing should be changed.
But as per I.T. act 120 days time is there to send the online acknowledgement. It may be enough. That's why thery are selecting ordinary post with low expenditure.....
After some interval, you may receive from department reg. not submitting of ITR V. If they get within time they will send you ack. on mail
