While filing ITR 2 for the year 2023-24 - 139(8A) in excel, when i click set off in CYLA-BFLA it gives the following error
"Please give quarterly break up of LTCG and STCG according to values in Schedule BFLA in schedulle CG table F"
I do not have any Capital gain income/loss/setoff
pl help
Since you have no capital gain income/loss/set-off , you should :
1.Leave the CYLA-BFLA set-off blank or enter zero values for LTCG/STCG in Schedule CG Table F.
2. Ensure Schedule CG (capital gains) reflects "Nil" or is not applicable.
3. If the software still throws the error, try disabling the BFLA set-off option or fill a dummy quarterly break up with zeros in Table F to satisfy the format.
