Can anyone plse tell me what changes have been done in syllabus of ISCA . The study material of ISCA was updated on 29th january 2013 ,
Some are saying no changes are being made but some are saying whole isca has been changed.Previously changes were made in chapter 2 and 5 and was applicable for nov2012 exams.
But what is the clear picture for may 2013 exams? I am totally confused whether to purchase a new book?
There are changes only in two chapters 5-Risk assessment & 8- IS audititng standards.
I had sent the E-mail to santosh.pandey @ icai.org regarding applicabilty of Jan-13 edition of ISCA. The reply was that old Jan-12 edition is applicable for May 13 exam...................................But I am stll confused about the matters added & deleted in chapters 5 & 8 in Jan-13 module..............for eg Old descripttion of COBIT is replaced with 5 Principles, enablers, ITIL totally raplaced with new matter, SAS-70 deleted, phases of ISMS........................So my query is whether ICAI will ask questions on new part like 'state 5 principles of COBIT?' OR Whether to write new added matter when question are based on COBIT, ITIL......................................................Whether there will be questions on deleted part??
