i think u should go with chandrashekhar.i used it.and got good marks.

The best option and the only option i would say is follow icai module word by word (even though its one hell of a job).

Choosing a book with simple language and explanations will lead into unnecessary trouble....

Telling this out of my own experience....

Regards..

Refer manish m valechha. It is a short version of icai module .. Keep Study mat for reference only .. This book includes everything. Valechha isca plus pm will b sufficient.
manish valecha is good.

which book is good for idt.

Better to read from the latest study material, suggested answers, practice manual.... follow the following procedure in reading the isca....

REad the small chapters like information systems concepts, Risk assessment, BCP/DRP, ERP, SDLC, Testing and IT ACt....

if you can sure that you can learn the chapter like IS Audit Standards, Guidelines Reporting , Audit policy & Controls then only ready as these topics are little bit toughf to remember....

if your are not that much sure to ready them, then read only the past questions from these topics.....

But  you need to read these topics with out leaving a single line. "information systems concepts, Risk assessment, BCP/DRP, ERP, SDLC, Testing and IT ACt.". if you can do that you can eassily score above 50....

I think you should ONLY GO FOR MODULE,But if you want to refer you can refer the Padhuka simultaneously with module. As it is in point form.So it will be very easy for reading at the time of examination.

BUT DON'T AVOID MODULE

Institute module and practice manual is the best books to clear final ISCA .

If you were refering Dinesh Madan's book earlier then continue following it. There is no time left to get acustomed to other author's book. Again, one can pass easily by following Dinesh Madan's book. If you have surplus time, you can refer practice manual in that time. But, please for own sake don't change book.

read module and practise manual only

I think you should refer latest notes from iscanotes.com bcoz they are summarized yet they cover entire study module.

Wherever possible mnemonics are provided for better retention. They are short & crisp, hence easy to revise..

After iscanotes, you can go through practice manual & RTP to put emphasis on more important questions.
