Hello everyone, I just want to know about the implications on property purchase. Some of builder gives you 100% benefit, few gives you the benefit of 7.5% & rest 4.5% will charge at the time of possession and few are charging 8%.
So, pls share your opinion in that case.
Also share if the GST rate will reduce on property as per the rumors it would be decreased up to the 5%.

Is GST applicable on Immovable properties?

No , Immovable property does not fall under the ambit of Goods Definition as defined under sec 2 of CGST ACT 2017
then why the builders charging GST on that.
