Ipcc modules more than enough?

Friends, I would like to know whether the modules provided by the Institute for IPCC are sufficient enough, not just in terms of passing the exams but gaining comprehensive knowldge, or not? If not, could you please provide me the list of those subjects which do require refrence books with names of authors/titles? I assume it is practical subjects like Accounting, Tax, and Costing & FM that would require refrence books. Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Secondly, I've heard from few coaching classes that modules provided by ICAI (for IPCC ofcourse) have loads of mistakes and hence should be avoided as much as possible. Is it true or are the coaching classes purposely purpoting this false message to make their "notes" more popular among the IPCC student group?

Thanks
